Prof Joachim Heberle, speaker of the SFB1078, was invited as guest lecturer at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He lectured on biophysical chemistry from 2^nd – 23^rd of May. The lecture series substantiated biophysical methods and concepts. Selected methods like spectroscopy and diffraction and their application to proteins and bio-membranes were of particular relevance.
