Student retreat
The students only retreat took place in Jugendherberge Hamburg Horner Rennbahn from September 30 to October 2, 2019. During the three days together the students gave scientific presentations to share their expertize in the main methods used in the SFB 1078. Invited talks were given by Andreas Barth (Stockholm University), Janne Ihalainen (University of Jyväskylä) and Sebastian Schäfer (Thorlabs). A visit to XFEL facility in Hamburg was also organised.
