I completed my masters degree in University of Iceland, 2020. The focus of
my project was on the effect of the CAAD/CURT1 domain on nitrogenase
localization within heterocysts of lichen cyanobionts.

I am currently starting a PhD in biophysics and biochemistry under Dr.
Dennis Nürnberg studying the interaction between the redox mediator Cyt c6
and photosystem I and its potential role in protonation dynamics in PSI.
Additionally I aim to study the role of alternative quinones in electron
transport and protonation dynamics within PSI.
